Part of our traditional butchers shop service is home deliveries, things have changes a little from when Lenoard Ansell made daily home deliveries as people didn’t have fridges (let alone freezers!) The delivery service continues to this day, updated for the current world. With online ordering and Click & Collect available to book

See below for our free delivery area. We also deliver to an extended area for a small charge. You can select your preferred delivery date and request your slot. We can leave your orders in a safe place, cool box or outside fridge, just add a note to your order!

Online Orders for Delivery 

Free Delivery Area 

• We offer free delivery with online orders within an approx 10 mile radius of the shop. This includes Maldon, Heybridge, Bicknacre, Cold Norton, Danbury, Little Baddow, Mundon, Purleigh, South Woodham Ferrers, Woodham Mortimer, Woodham Walter, Great and Little Totham and Wickham Bishops.

• If you qualify, a free delivery option will appear at checkout.
• Our free delivery days are Wednesday - Saturday.
• We can leave orders in a safe place, cool box or outside fridge. Just contact us to find out more and we will do our best to help!

​Extended Delivery Area 

• We offer an extended delivery service. Postcodes CM0, CM1, CM2, CM4, CM7, CM8, CM11, CM12, CM13, CM14, CM15, CM77, CO2, CO5 & SS11
  Delivery cost is £5.00, or free if you spend over £50.
  Our extended area delivery days are Wednesday – Saturday.
  We aim to fulfil orders within 2 business days.
  Please arrange a “safe place” if you are going to be out

Click and Collect orders 

• Our shop is open for collections between 08:00 – 16:00, Tuesday to Saturday.
• A date and time slot can be booked when ordering online.
